How does Something Borrowed work?
You can reserve items in two different ways. Know what you’re looking for? Browse our online inventory and submit a wishlist. We’ll check availability and get back to you with a quote.
Want to see the items in person and test out your setup? Come into our showroom to build your wishlist onsite.
How long is the rental period?
If your event is on a Saturday, your items will be ready for pickup on Friday and will be due back the following Monday. If your event is during the week, we will work with you on a return date.
Do you offer delivery?
Unfortunately, delivery is not available at this time.
Where are you located?
We are located in Maryville, MO. You can stop by our showroom during regular hours or contact us to schedule an appointment.
What happens if something breaks or an item is lost?
You are responsible for all lost or damaged items. If an items is returned damaged beyond repair or lost, you will be charged a replacement fee. This includes damage due to neglect or misuse.
Do I have to clean rented items before returning them?
Yes. All dining items must be rinsed free of food, candle wax removed from candlesticks and tables and chairs need to be wiped clean.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your requested items.
When is my final payment due?
Final payment is due one month prior to your event.
Can I make changes to my order after I have paid the deposit?
If items are available you may add to your order or swap an equal value item, however, you may not remove items.
I can’t make it in during store hours, do you take appointments?
Yes. We are happy to find a time that works for you. Contact us to set up a time.
